INTERNATIONAL NURSES DAY

On 12th May 2025, RKSN organized a heartfelt program at Aadharshila Old Age Home , Naini, Prayagraj to celebrate International Nurses Day under the theme Our Nurses. Our Future. Caring for nurses strengthens economies. The event featured health check-ups, gift distribution, and snack sharing with the elderly In the presence of Mr. Shashank Goswami (President, Aadharshila Old age Home), Mr. Vimal Giri (Manager, Aadharshila Old age Home) and Mrs. Kh. Victoria (Principal, RKSN).

WORLD THALASSEMIA DAY 2025

Today, RKSN commemorated World Thalassemia Day under the theme Empowering Lives Through Education, Prevention, and Access to Quality Care.A comprehensive presentation on Thalassemia and other blood disorders was delivered by our dedicated GNM 2nd Year Batch, raising awareness and promoting proactive healthcare.Together, we stand for awareness, compassion, and quality care. WORLD RED CROSS DAY

The Red Cross is not just an emblem its a promise to Keep Humanity Alive. On 7 May 2025, R.K. School of Nursing celebrated World Red Cross Day 2025 (Theme: Keep Humanity Alive) with a heartfelt presentation by our G.N.M. 3rd Year students on the International Committee of the Red Cross. Together, we honor the spirit of service, compassion, and global unity.

GNM STUDENTS EXPLORE DAIRY INDUSTRY

On 3rd May 2025, the GNM 1st and 2nd Year students of R.K. School of Nursing explored the world of dairy production during an educational visit to Shyam Dairy, Dandi, Naini, Prayagraj gaining firsthand insight into hygiene , nutrition , and health practices in the dairy industry. A valuable learning experience for our future healthcare heroes!

On April 25, 2025, RKSN organized a vibrant community program in Karchhana to mark World Malaria Day under the theme: Malaria ends with us: Reinvest, Reimagine, Reignite. The day featured a rally, poster presentation, street show, and the distribution of stationery to primary school students all aimed at raising awareness and inspiring action for a malaria-free future.

Our enthusiastic ANM 1st Year (20242025) students rocked their community posting at B.D.S High School, Hindupur (Karchhana) They spread awareness on the importance of Good Habits and Personal Hygiene through an interactive session with the students!

R.K. Group of Institutions, in collaboration with Shanti Vilas Hospital Civil Lines, hosted a free medical camp, bringing healthcare to the community with care and compassion!

COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTRE DUTY

The duty of nursing students in a Community Health Centre (CHC) involves actively participating in the delivery of comprehensive primary healthcare services to the community. Their responsibilities include assisting in patient assessments, providing basic nursing care, administering immunizations, and supporting health education programs. Nursing students also play a crucial role in promoting preventive health measures, conducting health screenings, and documenting patient information accurately. Additionally, they are trained to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, support community outreach initiatives, and address the health needs of diverse populations, ensuring compassionate and culturally sensitive care. This hands-on experience enhances their clinical skills and prepares them to become competent, confident healthcare providers.
